Stern Academy for Jewish Education (SAJE)

Jewish education is an awesome responsibility!  The challenge is to teach a five thousand year old tradition that is both ancient and modern.

Through a carefully selected curriculum for the classroom and opportunities for enrichment and worship, we hope to accomplish this goal: to give our children a solid foundation in Judaism, a foundation that they can build upon throughout their lifetimes.

TBT's Religious School has something to offer ALL learners:
  • Bagels and Blox:  Ages 3 months to 3 years:  Children and parents join together monthly for a musical, interactive program that brings Judaism to our youngest learners.
  • Outstanding Nursery School for ages 3-4 and Kindergarten class for 5 year-olds prepare our youngest learners for life-long Jewish education in a joyful, musical setting.
  • Exciting, interactive educational programs for students in grades 1-6, combining Hebrew and Judaic topics in a nurturing setting, catering to the needs of EVERY child.
  • Vibrant Academy program for students in grades 7-10, designed especifically to keep our young people involved in Judaism.
  • Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation classes are included in our school program.

Our goal is not only to educate, but to work together with families to ensure a lasting love of Judaism.
